DODA, OCTOBER 31: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Aslam today conducted a thorough inspection of the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital Doda.
This visit aimed to review the hospital’s preparedness, assess its facilities, and ensure the highest standards of healthcare for the community.
During the inspection, the DC and SSP Doda closely examined the emergency ward, assessed the availability of critical facilities, cleanliness standards, and staff readiness to manage emergencies effectively. A key highlight of the visit was the emphasis on maintaining patient privacy in the labour room, with strict entry restrictions for men to safeguard patient dignity and comfort.
The inspection extended to vital areas such as the sweeper room, staff quarters, and doctors’ duty stations, ensuring that all facilities are operating at optimal levels. This review is part of the administration’s ongoing commitment to providing quality healthcare services at GMC Doda.
Later, DC Harvinder Singh, accompanied by SSP Mohammad Aslam and the Principal GMC held a meeting with the Doctors and staff members at OPD Block. The discussion centered on addressing pressing issues such as parking facilities for doctors and patients, enhancing overall patient care, and addressing staff needs to improve operational efficiency.
