UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 16: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Saloni Rai today conducted a city tour of Domail Chowk and its adjoining areas to review civic amenities and address public grievances.

During the visit, the DC directed the Chief Executive Officer Municipality to ensure proper lighting at the Martyr Memorial Chowk Domail to enhance its visibility and maintain its sanctity. She emphasized the need for proactive measures to address civic issues in the area.

The DC instructed the concerned officers to decongest and clear choked drains in the vicinity to prevent water logging and ensure smooth drainage. She also directed the Jal Shakti Department to repair damaged pipelines and stop leakages immediately to ensure uninterrupted water supply.

The DC assured that the matter regarding the construction of a passage from the Sports Stadium to TCP would be taken up with the concerned authorities for timely redressal.

GREF authorities were asked to decongest lanes alongside the National Highway to ease traffic movement and improve overall connectivity.
