SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 15: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta today chaired an important review meeting to assess the progress of multiple flagship schemes, including HADP, JKCIP, KCC,KKG and PMFBY at the Mini-Secretariat, Shopian.
The meeting was convened to evaluate the performance under these initiatives and remove departmental bottlenecks to ensure timely implementation of development activities to benefit farmers across the district.
During the meeting, the DDC reviewed department-wise progress and issued necessary directions for accelerating implementation of schemes for the benefit of farmers and stakeholders. Emphasis was laid on effective field-level coordination, timely reporting and ensuring maximum coverage under beneficiary-oriented schemes.
The DDC directed officers to adopt a mission- mode approach to meet the targets within stipulated timelines. Banks and line departments were instructed to accelerate issuance of hassle free credit.
