Deputy Commissioner Rajouri reviews preparations for Sewa Parv-2025

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 13: The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today convened a comprehensive review meeting to finalize preparations for the upcoming ‘Sewa Parv-2025’. The fortnight-long celebration, set to take place from September 17 to October 2, 2025, will be observed across the Union Territory and will encompass a wide array of community-centric activities.

The DC outlined a multifaceted action plan focusing on key themes: Cleanliness Drives & Environmental Action, Education-Focused Initiatives, Engagement with Elderly & Vulnerable Sections, Health & Nutrition Initiatives, Awareness & Capacity Building Workshops, Cultural Activities, and Public Outreach Campaigns. Special emphasis was laid on promoting meaningful community participation and driving sustained, impactful change.

Plans for the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’ campaign, running parallel from September 17 to October 2, were also deliberated upon. This campaign will focus on women’s health, empowerment, and nutrition, aligning with Poshan Maah initiatives to enhance the well-being of women and families in the district.

During the meeting, departments shared thematic action plans to ensure the program’s effective execution. The DC directed all concerned departments to put forth added efforts, stressing the need for visible and measurable improvements in key performance indicators throughout the campaign. All Degree colleges were directed to adopt one park and ensure proper cleanliness of the same. Regarding Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign and other initiatives like Swachh Bharat Mission, TB Mukt Bharat, he asked the Principals of GDCs to organise rallies of students. The goal is to ensure that Sewa Parv-2025 brings about lasting, positive impacts within the community.

The meeting was attended by ADC Rajouri, Chander Prakash; ADC Nowshera, Pritam Lal Thapa; ADC Kalakote, Mohd Tanvir; SDM Thanamandi, Abid Hussain; CPO, Maqsood Ahmed; ACD, Auqil Nuvaid; DSEO, Sandeep Sharma; DDE, Mohd Nawaz Choudhary; DSHO, PP Sagotra; and LDM, Ravinder Nagara; DSWO, Abdul Raheem; CMO, Dr Manohar Rana; CEO Education Iqbal Hussain besides Principals of Degree colleges and other concerned officers.
