‎‎The review meeting focused on the implementation and progress of the interventions under SBM (G), status of rural sanitation infrastructure development, solid and liquid waste management activities, functioning of sanitation assets, door-to-door waste collection services, operation and maintenance of existing assets and other sanitation-related initiatives being implemented in the district.

‎‎A detailed block-wise review of the progress under SBM(G) was undertaken at the meeting. The Director General reviewed the status of ongoing and sanctioned works and stressed upon the need for time-bound completion, quality execution and effective utilization of sanitation infrastructure created under the programme.
