RAMBAN, JUNE 19: To empower tribal communities through information and access to welfare schemes, the District Administration Ramban organized an Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan awareness and schemes Saturation camp here at village Kariya, Panchayat Ballawat, Block Ramban.
More than 300 tribal community members attended the programme held under the overall supervision of Block Development Officer (BDO) Tanzeel Rounyal along with officers and officials representing various government departments.
The departments showcased respective initiatives and schemes, providing a platform for direct interaction between the tribal beneficiaries and government officials. These interactions helped clarify doubts and offered guidance on how to avail themselves of the benefits under various flagship programmes.
The programme played a crucial role in promoting the saturation of government schemes, ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is left out. It also facilitated on-the-spot redressal of grievances and dissemination of vital information related to health, education, social welfare, skill development, agriculture, and tribal welfare schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, BDO Ramban emphasized the importance of bringing governance to the doorsteps of marginalized communities and underlined the District Administration’s commitment to inclusive development.
