UDHAMPUR, JULY 26: Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar visited District Udhampur, where he convened a comprehensive review meeting to assess the implementation of flagship health programmes in the district.
The meeting was attended by SM Dr. D.J.Raina; DD Dentistry Dr.Sanjay Sharma; DD Planning Dr.Monika Upadhaya; STO Dr.Jyoti Jolly; Nodal Officer NPCB & VI Dr. Kamal Gupta; Nodal Officer NIDDCP Dr.Gurdeep, Nodal Officer JK Sehat Dr.Mridula, MO Epidemiology Dr. Premlata, besides Chief Medical Officer Udhampur Dr. Anil Manhas, MS District Hospital, Dy. CMO and all BMOs of the District. The meeting evaluated the performance and progress of the health schemes and services in the district.
The CMO Udhampur presented a detailed Power Point presentation highlighting key health indicators, achievements, and the overall work done across the district under various health programmes. The DHS took a detailed review of health schemes that included Implementation and utilization of JK Sehat app, Progress under the National TB Elimination Programme, Status of e Sanjeevani telemedicine services, Non- Communicable Disease (NCD) screening and management, implementation of RBSK, Ambulance Services and procedure of referrals, C-section service availability at delivery points, Functioning and maintenance of Oxygen Generation Plants, Implementation of the National Programme for Control of Blindness, e Sehaj, activities under NVBDCP, the ASHA programme, Progress of other flagship National Health Programmes besides Monitoring and reporting under Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) through the Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP).
The DHS also reviewed the critical care infrastructure under the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. He assessed the status and timelines of ongoing projects and instructed for expedited completion without compromising quality.
