SHOPIAN, MARCH 11: District Industries Centre (DIC) Shopian today organised an awareness programme under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Programme at the Block Development Office, Zainapora to sensitize local youth and entrepreneurs about the benefits of Udyam Registration.
During the programme, officials from DIC Shopian highlighted various initiatives and benefits available for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The participants were informed about government initiatives aimed at strengthening MSMEs, improving access to finance, enhancing competitiveness and creating better market linkages.
The officials also briefed the participants about different self-employment and entrepreneurship schemes being implemented through the Industries and Commerce Department and encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to avail the benefits of these schemes to establish their own ventures.
The participants appreciated the initiative of DIC Shopian for organising the awareness programme at the grassroots level to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen the MSME ecosystem in the district.
The programme witnessed active participation from local youth, artisans, aspiring entrepreneurs and members of Self Help Groups associated with NRLM.
