BARAMULLA, FEBRUARY 25 Director Colleges, Higher Education Department, Prof. (Dr.) Sheikh Aijaz Bashir, visited Government Degree College Thindim Kreeri to assess the ongoing construction works and academic activities.
During the visit, he inspected the construction site of the main college building and other works. On the occasion, he impressed on the executing agency to expedite the ongoing construction activity.
Further, he instructed the administration of the college to speed up arrangements for shifting academic activities to the newly constructed prefab structures.
Later, he visited the makeshift campus in Kreeri, where he interacted with students, listened to their concerns, and expressed satisfaction with their academic engagement.
Principal of the college, Prof. Kounsar Jan apprised him of the challenges faced by the college, including infrastructure and resource constraints.
Dir assured to addressing these concerns and emphasized the importance of maintaining academic excellence despite infrastructural limitations.
