Director Agriculture Jammu launches Training Calendar 2025-26

JAMMU, APRIL 23: Director Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Jammu S. Arvinder Singh Reen today launched the Training Calendar for 2025-26, here at Kissan Kendra Talab Tillo.

In his address, the Director highlighted that the Training Calendar features 28 divisional-level capacity building programmes designed for both farmers and officers, with a strong focus on sustainable agricultural practices and technological advancements.

Joint Director Satish Sharma emphasized the Extension wing’s commitment to enhancing the capacities of farmers and officers alike, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainability in agriculture.

The event witnessed the presence of Satish Sharma, Joint Director Agriculture (Extension), Dr Ashwani Sharma Deputy Director Central, Dr. Manju Thakur, Country Coordinator CAB International, Dr. Aman Jyoti Sharma Agriculture Chemist Jammu, Alok Pandotra Deputy Director Trainings, Darmesh Vaid SMS RL, Rajesh Verma Assistant Entomologist Jammu, Rajeev Katoch, Programme Officer and Extension Wing team who played a key role in formulating the calendar which is thoughtfully scheduled to align with significant national and international observances, enriching the thematic relevance of the training sessions.
