District Admin Bandipora Hosts Farewell for Outgoing PD&SJ, Welcomes Newly Posted AD&SJ

BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 19: The District Administration Bandipora, headed by Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Wednesday hosted a farewell ceremony to accord a warm send-off to the outgoing Principal District and Sessions Judge (PD&SJ) Bandipora, Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, and extended a warm welcome to the newly posted Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ) Bandipora, Mir Wajahat.

The event was attended by judicial officers including Sub Judge/CJM Bandipora, Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon, and Secretary DLSA Bandipora, Sheikh Babar Hussain, as well as ADC Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl, SDM Sumbal, Sheikh Murtaza, besides officers from the civil administration and police.

While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the valuable services rendered by the outgoing PD&SJ Bandipora, during his tenure in the district. She appreciated his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to strengthening the justice delivery system in Bandipora. She conveyed her best wishes to Justice Choudhary for his future endeavours and prayed for his good health and continued success.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also extended a cordial welcome to the newly posted Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bandipora, and expressed hope that Bandipora would continue to benefit from his experience, leadership, and judicial expertise.

Officers present also shared their remarks, acknowledging the contributions of the outgoing PD&SJ and expressed confidence in the incoming officer’s ability to carry forward the standards of judicial service in the district.
