BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 17 : District Administration Bandipora today organised an IEC awareness event under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at the Town Hall, Bandipora, to sensitise the public about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and to promote a drug-free society.
The programme was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development Bandipora along with other resource persons.
Speakers highlighted the importance of prevention, early intervention and community participation in combating substance abuse, while also sharing information on the physical, mental and social consequences of addiction and the available support and rehabilitation services.
The event encouraged youth and community members to adopt healthy lifestyles and actively contribute towards making Bandipora a drug-free district.
