KATHUA, AUGUST 06: Officers and officials of District Administration Kathua today organised a farewell function for Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rakesh Minhas, on his transfer to Jammu where he will serve as Deputy Commissioner.
The event featured emotional speeches, with officers recalling Dr. Minhas’s dynamic and impactful tenure.
ADDC Kathua Surinder Mohan Sharma, ADC Vishavjeet Singh, CPO Ranjit Thakur, ACR Vishav Partap Singh, SDM Hiranagar Phulail Singh, ACD Akhil Sadotra and other officers highlighted achievements under Dr. Minhas’s leadership, particularly in infrastructure, public services and citizen-centric governance.
Dr. Minhas thanked the team for their support, calling his time in Kathua memorable. He credited the district’s progress to teamwork and cooperation, stating, “No achievement is possible without a good team. I am thankful to every official and officer for standing shoulder to shoulder in our efforts towards the holistic development of Kathua.”
The function concluded with the presentation of mementos and best wishes to Dr. Minhas for his new role.
