RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 17: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ramban Roshan Lal chaired a comprehensive review meeting today here in the Conference Hall to assess performance of Rural Development Department (RDD) in the execution of works taken under the District Capex Plan 2024-25.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Srinath Suman; Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP) Mohd. Ashfaq; besides Block Development Officers (BDOs) and other concerned officers.

The ADDC evaluated the physical and financial progress of each project and asked the Department to expedite completion of new works and ensure 100% expenditure. The Rural Engineering Wing (REW) officers were instructed to get the allotment of works and ensure proper documentation, with allotment orders emailed to all BDOs without any further delay.

Given the time constraints and limited working season, the ADDC emphasized double-shift execution to accelerate progress. Additionally, he directed that all billing processes be completed and submitted to the respective treasuries before March 15, 2025.

The CPO provided a block-wise progress report and urged officers to meet developmental targets and ensure the timely delivery of services under the District Capex Plan 2024-25.
