RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 17: Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajiv Khajuria today finalized the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) exam being held in two shifts on February 23, 2025.

Chairing a meeting, the ADC directed the concerned authorities to install proper signages near all designated examination centers to facilitate candidates. He instructed the Principals of the identified exam centers to ensure proper seating arrangements, cleanliness, adequate ventilation, and proper lighting to provide a conducive examination environment.

To strengthen the monitoring mechanism, the ADC informed that in addition to the observers deployed by JKPSC, the district administration has also designated additional observers to oversee the examination process. He directed the District Treasury Officer (DTO) to ensure the secure receipt and distribution of sensitive examination materials under CCTV surveillance.

The Traffic Department was tasked with ensuring smooth traffic regulation, especially near the examination centers, to prevent congestion and facilitate the movement of candidates and examination staff.

Further, the Executive Engineer PDD was asked to take measures for uninterrupted power supply at all examination centers, while the Executive Engineer PHE was directed to make adequate arrangements for drinking water.

The Police authorities were asked to make foolproof security arrangements at all examination centers and provide police escorts for the transportation of exam materials from the District Strong Room to the examination centers and back.

The meeting was attended by Additional SP Bikram Kumar, DTO, CEO Bishamber Dass, Executive Engineer PDD Abdul Rasheed, Executive Engineer PHE Ashwani Khajuria, Principal BHSS Muslim Wani and other district and sectoral officers.
