DLC approves 06 cases of “Change of Land Use” in Rajouri

RAJOURI, JULY 15: The District Level Committee (DLC) on change of land use in Rajouri gave its approval for six cases of converting agricultural land to non-agricultural use.

In a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat detailed discussion was held on the applications received from various areas of the district. After careful deliberation, the committee approved six cases of converting agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes.

In addition, the concerned departments were given specific instructions to ensure the prompt issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) in the cases fulfilling the criteria laid down in the matter as per norms. It was emphasised that proper verification of documents and adherence to the regulations under the Land Conversion Regulations of 2022 should be carried out in each case.

Officers who attended the meeting were DFO Rajouri; SE PWD(R&B), Devi Dayal; SE I&FC; ACR, Mohd Jhangir Khan; CAO, Sohan Singh; EXEN PDD Rajouri, Mohammad Rashid; AD Fire and Emergency Services and other concerned officers.
