DLSA organises 4th National Lok Adalat at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 14: In pursuance of the National calendar and under directions of J and K Legal Services Authority, 4th National Lok Adalat was organized in district Kishtwar by the District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar under the supervision and guidance of Chairman DLSA, Kishtwar Manjeet Singh Manhas .

In the said 4th National Lok Adalat Criminal Compoundable cases, Matrimonial cases, Maintenance, Civil, Recovery, MACT Cases, Revenue Cases, Labour Disputes and Pre-Litigation cases and other cases were taken up before 03 benches were constituted for the said purpose.

The first Bench was consisting of Manjeet Singh Manhas Principal District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar and Naveed Khurshid (Deputy LADC) Kishtwar.

The Second bench was consisting of Slahuddin Ahmed Secretary DLSA Kishtwar and Sanveer Singh (Assistant LADC) Kishtwar. The Third bench was consisting Karan Bijyal (Munsiff/JMIC) Kishtwar and Deepika Sharma (Additional Special Mobile Magistrate) Kishtwar.

A total of 389 number of cases were taken up out of which 321 cases of different nature was settled down. A total amount of Rs 1,27,30,767/-was awarded to the claimants in MACT Cases, and other cases.
