SAMBA, MARCH 15: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit-Prabha of Government Degree College, Ramgarh today screened a documentary on Nasha Mukti under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA).
The event was conducted under able guidance and leadership of Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra.
The documentary was screened to generate awareness among students about drug abuse and its catastrophic effects on the addicts, their families and the society as a whole.
NSS Program Officer, Prof. Braham Dutt shared his insights on the issue of drug abuse and motivated students to refrain from the drugs and related narcotics. He encouraged students to embrace sports and yoga activities as a part of their daily lives to enhance their performance in sports and sharpen their minds, instead of falling into drug addiction. He added that all Indians must live up to the spirit of ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’.
The students participated enthusiastically and patiently watched the documentary. All the faculty members attended the event.
