RAMBAN, AUGUST 06: Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today chaired a meeting of the District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) to review and approve rent assessment cases pertaining to various government departments.
The meeting was attended by ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Engineers of PWD Divisions Ramban and Banihal, besides other concerned officers, representatives of the departments concerned and owners of private buildings.
All 15 proposals were approved by the Committee after detailed examination and deliberations in the presence of the concerned building owners and representatives of the respective departments.
The cases included rented premises being utilised by the Army, Education, Health, Social Welfare, FCS&CA, Municipal Committee Banihal and Animal Husbandry departments, among others.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to ensure strict compliance with the approved rent assessments and timely completion of all necessary formalities in accordance with the prescribed rules.
