KULGAM, JUNE 04: A team of Drug Control Officers today conducted an inspection of the drug stores at PHC Kilam and PHC Pahloo in District Kulgam.
Inspections of chemist shops situated in the area were also carried out to ensure maintenance of records of Schedule H1 drugs as per the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and the Rules framed thereunder.
The team verified purchase bills, sale registers, storage conditions of vaccines, data loggers, and compliance with Schedule H1 record-keeping norms. Certain records were demanded on the spot, and samples of various supplies were lifted to ascertain their quality. Further directions were issued to maintain Schedule H1 drug records in a transparent manner.
