SRINAGAR, JULY 08: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, today conducted a surprise inspection of Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) and PMGSY offices in Rajbagh, Srinagar to assess the operational efficiency and employee punctuality.

The inspection was aimed at ensuring seamlessly functioning of the department, with a focus on timely execution of duties and projects.

During the inspection, the Dy CM reviewed the attendance registers to verify the presence of staff across different branches. He emphasised the importance of punctuality, stating that timely arrival at the workplace was essential for maintaining discipline and ensuring smooth operations.

Surinder Choudhary, while interacting with the staff there, maintained that the government is committed to ensure speedy and hassle free deliverance of public services to the people. He directed the employees to strictly adhere to office hours, underscoring that consistent punctuality reflects a commitment to public service and enhanced department’s credibility.

The Dy CM also instructed the officials to avoid any mismanagement in their work and prioritise timely completion of all ongoing projects.
