Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said that those from the dynasty politics in Jammu and Kashmir will have to find some other means for survival as the political business won’t help them anymore.

Addressing a presser, here at a local hotel, Party’s National Spokesman, Shahnawaz Hussain, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the time for dynasty politics has come to an end.  “Those who are part of the dynasty politics in Jammu and Kashmir should find other means for survival as the political business has come to an end for them,” he said.

Terming Jammu and Kashmir as crown of India, BJP National Spokesperson said that the Prime Minister is focused towards the development of the Union Territory and all his dreams towards J&K will be implemented for the wellbeing of the people.

“Election Commission of India cannot be side-lined. Every step is being taken by the commission to initiate a process related to the elections. The process has already been started and further process for conduct of polls will be started accordingly,” he said when asked about the possibility of conducting elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the democratic process will be started soon and those who belong to dynasty parties will be rejected by the people.

Targeting the political parties in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that some opposition leaders who failed to do anything in the last 70 years are frustrated with the government initiatives and steps for the betterment of the tourism, horticulture and other departments. “J&K has become a favourite destination for tourism, food processing, horticulture and other things,” he said.

He also said that the atmosphere is better for the investment in J&K and the Union Territory is heading towards development. “The foreign investment is also being made to ensure employment to the J&K people,” he said.

“The fruitful steps have led to the benefits of the people. At present, no hotel room is vacant, no space is available at the Srinagar Airport due to the increasing footfall of tourists,” he said.

He also said that he met Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha yesterday and congratulated him for the steps that lead to the clean water in Dal Lake. “J&K LG is working hard to ensure progress on the ground,” he said—(KNO)
