Elderly woman dead, 8 injured in Rajouri road accident

Rajouri: A woman died, while eight others were injured in a road accident that took place in Mandir Gala area of Rajouri district on Tuesday later evening.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the accident took place when a vehicle on way to Kotranka plunged into a roadside gorge near Mandir Gala.

He said in the accident, a woman identified as Raziya Begum (50) of Hubbi died while eight others were injured.

He said the injured were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.

Injured have been identified as Nagina Begum (22), Aliza (3), Mohd Shakeel (30), Mohd Taj (45), Saleema Begum (22), Mohd Farooq (40), Farhan Farooq (3) and Mohd Faizan (3)—(KNO)
