SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 27: In pursuance with the observation of ‘Sewa Parv – 2025,’ Employment deptt Kashmir today organized a Flag Rally (Water Sports) event with the objective of promoting the spirit of service, physical fitness, raising environmental awareness and community participation at Boat Club Pokhribal, Kathi Darwaza, Srinagar.
More than 250 participants from across all the districts of Kashmir Valley took part in a range of exciting water based activities including Kayaking, Canoeing, Ergometer Race, Paddle boating etc. and witnessed an active involvement from students, local residents, sports enthusiasts.
The event is organized to create awareness about Mission YUVA which is a flagship initiative aimed to transform Jammu & Kashmir into a thriving hub for entrepreneurship and employment by fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and empowering individuals to drive economic growth and self-reliance in J&K, unlocking its inherent potential for transition towards sustainable economy, livelihood and empowered youth.
Mission YUVA ensures financial aid, skill-building, and market linkages for entrepreneurs while simplifying access to government schemes.
The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the winners and participants.
