KISHTWAR, JUNE 05: In view of the Eid-ul-Azha, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Idrees Lone led a joint team to conduct market checking drive across the Kishtwar town to ensure the availability of quality products at notified rates.
The team checked the quality, hygiene and pricing of essential commodities including livestock, vegetables, sweets, and other consumable goods.
Encroachments by vendors (Rehris) on footpaths were also removed to facilitate pedestrian movement and ensure traffic decongestion.
The ACR imposed on-the-spot fine of Rs. 10,000 on the violators.
Shopkeepers were strictly instructed to display and sell goods as per the approved rate list.
