KATHUA, NOVEMBER 04: Expenditure Observer (EO) Atesham Ansari on Monday conducted the expenditure reconciliation meeting for the Assembly Constituencies (ACs) of Kathua, Jasrota and Hiranagar here in the conference hall DC office complex.

Assistant Expenditure Observers (AEOs) of the three constituencies meticulously examined the Expenditure Registers submitted by the candidates, who contested Assembly election, reconciling them with the Shadow Registers maintained by the election authorities.

The reconciliation process was conducted in the presence of District Election Officer Kathua, Dr. Rakesh Minhas, along with Returning Officers and representatives of the contesting candidates.

The meeting was also attended by Liaison Officer Shokat Mahmood (PO ICDS), Nodal Officer Expenditure Anirudh Khajuria (DTO) and other concerned officials.

This monitoring and reconciliation process is vital for maintaining transparency and ensuring fair election practices in the district. ‎
