Srinagar, Sep 21: A day after a fake ‘Cardiologist’ was arrested from Lal Ded hospital here, the government on Thursday said that the investigation is in full swing and appropriate measures are being taken to ensure that the incident is not repeated.
Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that as soon as the incident was reported, swift action has been initiated in this regard yesterday.,
“The investigation is going on, we are consulting with the health department in this regard to ascertain the facts,” he said.
He added that to ensure the incident is not reaped, appropriate measures will be taken.
Pertinently, a man impersonating a cardiologist at Lal Ded Hospital in Srinagar was arrested.
Officials had stated that a man from Ganderbal who was impersonating a cardiologist entered the labour room where he talked to several patients. They had said the fake cardiologist had been telling most of the patients there to go for ECG and they would be shifted to SMHS—(KNO)
