UDHAMPUR, MAY 20: The Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens conducted a comprehensive cleanliness drive across all parks in Udhampur and Reasi districts.
A total of 10 parks were covered under this initiative. With the onset of summer, a significant number of visitors frequent these parks, especially during the evening hours. Recognizing the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, the Department is giving top priority to cleanliness and sanitation across all its parks and gardens.
This cleanliness drive is not a one-time effort but part of a continuous process aimed at enhancing the overall experience for visitors. The Department is committed to ensuring that these green spaces remain clean, hygienic and enjoyable for all.
Additionally, the Department is actively discouraging the use of plastic and related items within the parks.
Awareness efforts are underway to promote eco-friendly practices among visitors, ensuring the preservation of the natural beauty and ecological balance of these public spaces.
