Srinagar, Nov 22: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Wednesday said that the winter vacation for schools in Kashmir will be announced in a day or two as they seriously considering the issue.
While speaking with reporters, Bidhuri, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the decision to announce the vacation will be made after considering various factors, including the impact of vacation on the academic calendar of students.
He said that the vacations will be announced in a phased manner, with primary schools being the first to close, followed by middle and higher schools.
The exact dates for the vacation will be announced in a day or two, he said.
Divisional Commissioner also assured that the government is committed to ensuring that the academic calendar of students does not suffer as a result of the vacation—(KNO)
