New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, one of India’s most respected statesmen and economists, passed away at the age of 92. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Thursday evening after his health condition deteriorated. Dr. Singh was brought to the hospital’s emergency department, where efforts to stabilize him proved unsuccessful.
Dr. Singh served as India’s 13th Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, leaving a lasting legacy of economic reforms and inclusive growth. Known for his calm demeanor, scholarly approach, and unwavering commitment to public service, he was widely admired across political lines.
