The Department of Education, HKM Degree College Bandipora, organised an awareness lecture on drug de-addiction under the guidance of Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Parey. The programme highlighted the adverse social, psychological and health consequences of substance abuse and concluded with a strong message urging students to stay away from drugs and contribute towards a healthy society.

The Youth Club of NSS Units also organised an Anti-Drug Pledge ceremony under the convenership of Prof. Irfan Ahmad Wagay. Students participated enthusiastically and pledged to remain committed to the fight against drug abuse while spreading awareness among their peers and communities.

Meanwhile, under the guidance of the Principal, Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, the Red Ribbon Youth Club organised an Interaction-cum-Awareness Session on Drug Addiction for outgoing 8th Semester students.
Coordinator, Red Ribbon Youth Club, Dr. Mehrajuddin Talie, sensitised students about the harmful effects of drug abuse, its social and health consequences, and the importance of making informed and responsible life choices.
