DODA, MARCH 27: Government Degree College (GDC) Doda hosted an interactive session where Brig. D.N. Pandey, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters Jammu, and Col. M.K. Sharma, Commanding Officer, 10 JK Battalion NCC Bhalra Bhaderwah had a hearty talk with the NCC cadets of the Institution.
The guests were warmly welcomed by the College Principal Dr. Javed Iqbal and Associate NCC Officer (ANO) Lt. Dr. Jaswant Singh with the presentation of a bouquet of flowers.
During the session, Lt. Dr. Jaswant Singh delivered a comprehensive report highlighting the achievements, training programs, and contributions of the NCC cadets from the Infantry and Naval Wings of the institution. As a mark of honor, Brig. D.N. Pandey was presented with a memento by the principal.
Brig. Pandey commended the efforts of the NCC unit and encouraged cadets to uphold the values of discipline, leadership, and national service. He also engaged with the cadets, motivating them to participate actively in various NCC programs and strive for excellence.
Principal Dr. Javed Iqbal emphasized that the visit reinforced the vital role of NCC in shaping young minds with patriotism and social responsibility. The event was coordinated by Dr. Barket Ali, Chief Training Officer (CTO) of the Naval Wing, while the formal vote of thanks was presented by ANO Dr. Jaswant Singh.
