GDC Marh students shine at 47th Annual Inter-Collegiate Athletic Meet

JAMMU, MARCH 08: Government Degree College Marh celebrated the outstanding achievements of its student athletes in the 47th Annual Inter-Collegiate Athletic Meet organized by the University of Jammu recently.
Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul felicitated the athlete medalists, acknowledging their dedication and hard work.

He also appreciated Physical Director Ravi Kumar for sharp and apt selection of the college team.
Ghansham of Bsc. Sem IV, showcased exceptional athletic skill by securing gold medals in both the 100 meters and 200 meters sprints. He has been conferred with the title of “Fastest Athlete of Jammu University”.

Additionally, he contributed to the college’s success by earning a Silver medal in the 4×100 meters relay race. Lucky Sharma of BA Sem II secured the gold medal in the 800 meters race, showcasing exceptional athletic talent and also the clinched silver medal in the 4*100 meters relay race. Mohit Sakolia of B.Sc Sem VI, won Bronze medal in the shot-put event, adding colours to the college in the meet and also got silver medal in the 4*100 meters relay race. Rajat Singh of BCom Sem II, another talented athlete, played a crucial role in the 4×100 meters relay team, securing a silver medal for the college.
