SAMBA, MARCH 06: In continuation to the series of activities being organised under Voter Awareness campaign, Government Degree College Ramgarh organised a Pledge taking ceremony on ‘Mera Pehle Vote Desh Ke Liye’ today. The program was organised under the guidance and supervision of the esteemed Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra. All the students and faculty members took the pledge and showed their commitment towards voting and in choosing their representatives.
And a day earlier, Mr. Sunil Kumar from the Department of Computer Applications screened a Documentary on Voter Awareness to the students and faculty, under the aegis of SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation Program). The motive of this event was to aware and educate the students about their voting the importance of their participation in the elections. The faculty members who were present include Dr. Shivali Choudhary, Ms. Priya Bhagat, Ms. Priya Sharma, Dr. Imitiyaz Ahmed Bhat and Dr. Fayaz Ahmed.
