DODA, JUNE 11: A meeting to review geotagging of units established under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) was held today at the District Industries Centre (DIC).
Chaired by General Manager DIC, S. Paramjeet Singh, the meeting was attended by representatives from different banks and the Geotagging Team from the Department of Posts.
The team has been entrusted to geotagging of 524 units, the list of which was provided by the district administration early this month. It was informed that 94 units have been geotagged to date.
General Manager S. Paramjeet Singh set a two month deadline for the geotagging exercise and instructed the team to submit the list of non-functional or non-existing units within five days.
