JAMMU, APRIL 04: GGM Science College on Friday organized an insightful expert talk on “Motivation Through Goal Setting,” aimed at inspiring students to adopt a structured approach towards success. The event was spearheaded by the College Committee for Debates, Seminars, and Symposiums in association with the NSS wing. Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of the College hailed the Committee’s endeavor.
The keynote speaker for the session was Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir and a distinguished motivational speaker Rizwan Uddin. He emphasized the transformative power of goal setting in both personal and professional growth, urging students to take the first step with confidence. “Uncertainty is certain, but it’s our mindset that matters,” he remarked, encouraging attendees to develop resilience and self-belief in the face of challenges.
Rizwan Uddin elaborated on the crucial role of clear objectives, self-discipline, and determination in achieving success. Through real-life examples and interactive discussions, he guided students in aligning their aspirations with practical, actionable steps. The session received an enthusiastic response, with attendees appreciating the motivational insights and tangible strategies provided.
Earlier, the event commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Ashaq Hussain, who introduced the keynote speaker and extended gratitude on behalf of GGM Science College. Later, in his closing remarks, Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta expressed deep appreciation for Rizwan Uddin’s thought-provoking and inspiring discourse, emphasizing the significance of such engagements in shaping young minds.
The session witnessed the participation of senior faculty members, including Prof. Vandana Khajuria, Dr. Narinder Kumar, and committee members Prof. Shalini Sharma, Dr. Neha Mahajan, Prof. Akanksha Parihar, Dr. Arun Kumar, Dr. Rohit Bhardwaj, and Prof. Neha Sharma, NSS Program Officer of the College. The event concluded with a dynamic question-answer segment, where students eagerly interacted with the speaker, seeking guidance on overcoming obstacles in goal implementation.
The event formally ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Akanksha Parihar, who acknowledged the speaker’s invaluable insights and expressed appreciation for the collective efforts of the entire team and NSS in making the event a resounding success.
