DODA, JULY 31: The Government Higher Secondary School for Boys, Bhaderwah, celebrated its 100th anniversary with great enthusiasm.
Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh was the chief guest at the event, while Bal Krishan, CEO of BDA, graced the occasion as the guest of honor. The presence of these distinguished personalities added prestige to the celebration.
Educationist, Arif Rana conducted the proceedings, ensuring the program ran smoothly. The event marked a significant milestone in the school’s history.
DC congratulated the school staff and the public of Bhaderwah on the 100-year celebration of the school’s establishment. He noted the school’s history of producing great personalities and urged the students to work hard to achieve their goals.
During the event, the school released the first edition of its annual magazine, “Neeru-E-Saga,” from the hands of DC Doda. The magazine illustrates the creative talent of students and highlights the progress and achievements of the school.
The centennial celebration was attended by DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Vice Chairperson DDC Sangeeta Rani, BDC member Youdhvir Singh, CEO BDA Bhaderwah Bal Krishan, CEO Education, P.L Thappa, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School, Dr. Nazir Ahmed Butt beside others.
Arif Rana, the coordinator and anchor of the event, as well as past and current students and senior citizens were also present to witness this historic occasion.
