UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 24: Shaheed Insp. Kamal Singh. Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Udhampur on Saturday organized an Industrial Visit of Health Care Students (9th to 12th) to SHRI MATA VAISHNO DEVI NARAYANA SUPERSPECIALITY HOSPITAL, KARKYAL, KATRA
The visit was organized under vocational Education, Samagra Shiksha, J&K for the session 2023-24.
The School Principal Manoj Kumar Jad, and Vice Principal Renu Kotwal flagged off the visit . The students were accompanied by three faculty members, Vijay Kumar, Sr. Lect, Abhinav Gupta, Sr. Lect, and Vijay Kumar, Lect.
During the visit, Dr. Sachin Verma, Physiotherapist briefed the students about various wrong positions and postures. He also demonstrated the right way of maintaining the postures while studying and doing other routine work especially to avoid muscular / bone pain problems etc.
Sunidhi SE Coordinator and Poonam Bahtija, SE Manager delivered thought provoking Lectures and guided the students how they can opt or choose medical field as their career.
They took the students to IPD Ward, OPD Ward, Pharmacy Centers, Radiology Department, Billing section, X-Ray Section, Pathology Lab etc.
The students learnt about their trade and got familiar with different medical equipment used in the hospital. The students appreciated the Medical Officials for giving them deep knowledge. They hoped for more such type of visits in future for the enhancement of knowledge and deep insight.
