SRINAGAR, APRIL 09: In a significant development for medical education in Jammu and Kashmir, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has granted accreditation to the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, for the DrNB Thoracic Surgery programme.
This accreditation marks a major milestone in the development of medical education in Jammu and Kashmir, enhancing the region’s capacity for specialized medical training.
Principal, GMC Srinagar complimented the HOD CVTS Prof (Dr) Mohammad Akbar Bhat and other Faculty & staff of CVTS Deptt Dy Registrar Academics Prof (Dr) Mohammad Saleem Ittoo and administration of GMC Srinagar for the achievement.
