SRINAGAR, AUGUST 29: The Department of Physical Education, Govt. College of Education (GCoE), M.A. Road, Srinagar today celebrated National Sports Day with great fervour and excitement.
The programme was dedicated to the memory of Hockey Player Major Dhyan Chand, recognizing his remarkable contributions to bringing pride to the nation on the international stage.
On the occasion, a number of activities were held to encourage student engagements, highlight the value of sportsmanship and physical fitness, and promote the importance of an active lifestyle.
The culmination of the events included an awards ceremony where Trophies were distributed among the participants for their accomplishment.
