UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 05: The week-long campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata, Swantantarta ka utsav, swachhata ke sung” was launched today by District Administration Udhampur to promote cleanliness and patriotism.
In collaboration with the National Highways Authority of India, a Swachhata Cyclathon rally was organised under Swachh Bharat Mission and Har Ghar Tiranga. Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh flagged off the rally from DC Office Complex Udhampur.
Around 100 cyclists participated, covering Court Road, Gole Market, Sallian Talab and concluding at Dhar Road Gole Mela Ground.
The ADC praised the initiative and urged public participation in Swachh Bharat efforts. He also called upon citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes and take part in the campaign to express national pride.
