DODA, MAY 07: A team headed by Chief Medical Officer, Dr Om Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of various Clinical establishments operating in Doda Town.
The inspection was conducted on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh to ensure proper regulation and operationalization of Clinical Establishments; stop mushrooming growth of ill equipped pathological/ microbiological laboratories and other clinical establishments lacking in infrastructure and technical expertise.
The team headed by CMO, carried out a thorough inspection of the clinics in Doda and found infirmities and deficiencies in some centres.
The CMO informed that on the directions of DC Doda, the health department has intensified inspections of the clinical establishments in the District to ensure that these operate according to laid down guidelines and regulations to the best satisfaction of the patients.
The CMO urged the medical practitioners in the private sector, chemists and druggists to strictly follow the guidelines, norms and medical ethics while discharging their professional duties and responsibilities.
