High Court Jammu wing celebrates 79th Independence Day

JAMMU, AUGUST 15: Under the guidance and patronage of Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Arun Palli, Jammu Wing of the High Court, today celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic zeal and joy in a grand function at High Court Complex, Janipur, Jammu

The celebrations commenced with unfurling of the National Flag by Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Senior most Judge, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh who took salute presented by a contingent of CRPF personnel in presence of companion Judges of the High Court and dignitaries. These included Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Mohd. Akram Chowdhary, Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, Justice Rajesh Sekhri, Justice Sanjay Parihar, Additional Advocate General, Senior Advocates, Yash Paul Bourney, Principal District and Sessions Judge. Jammu and all Judicial Officers Headquarters at Jammu.

Sandeep Kour, Registrar Judicial, Jammu Wing, Meyank Gupta, Joint Registrar Judicial/Protocol, Jammu Wing, Jeewan Sharma, Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee besides Vishal Sharma, Deputy Solicitor General of India, J&K Nirmal Kotwal, President, J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu along with office bearers and members of the Bar Association and the officers and officials of the High Court Registry and District Judiciary were present on the occasion.

It is pertinent to mention that the main Independence Day function was held at High Court complex, Srinagar, where Chief Justice High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Arun Palli hoisted the National Flag.
