Baramulla: An elderly man who was injured after being hit be an unknown vehicle in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district two days ago succumbed to his injuries in Srinagar hospital.
The victim has been identified as Ghulam Rasool Bhat, a resident of Nai Basti Kanilbagh Baramulla.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the victim was hit by an unknown vehicle near Nanak Bawan Baramulla and was shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for treatment.
The victim, however, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital two days after the accident.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
