KISHTWAR, APRIL 05: In a remarkable effort to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and the spirit of healthy competition, the District Youth Services & Sports Department today organized Intramural Competitions for Higher Secondary School Boys, High School Bandrena, and Middle School Indiranagar.

The competitions featured three dynamic disciplines—Volleyball, Chess, and Yoga—with enthusiastic participation from students across all academic levels.

This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to fostering holistic development through active youth engagement in co-curricular activities.

The Volleyball matches showcased thrilling performances, with teams from all three schools demonstrating exceptional skills, teamwork, and strategic coordination.

In the Chess tournaments, students exhibited sharp intellect and strategic prowess, highlighting the importance of mental agility alongside physical sports.

The Yoga sessions emphasized flexibility, mindfulness, and stress management, reinforcing the significance of mental health and holistic well-being among young minds.

The events were conducted under the vigilant supervision of trained physical education instructors and sports officials, ensuring strict adherence to sportsmanship and competition rules. The organizing committee ensured all necessary arrangements, including safety protocols, sports equipment, and refreshments, for a seamless experience.

These intramural competitions not only served as a refreshing break from academic routines but also instilled vital values such as perseverance, discipline, leadership, and teamwork.
