Ist National Lok Adalat in Budgam scheduled on March 08

BUDGAM, FEBRUARY 18: District Legal Services Authority Budgam has scheduled Ist National Lok Adalat on March 08, 2025 for pending/pre-litigation at District Court complex Budgam and all Tehsil courts of district Budgam for expected amicable settlement.

Accordingly, all concerned Ld. Advocates as well as Persons/parties who desire to get their cases settled through the Lok-Adalat have been informed to approach concerned courts for their amicable settlement by or before March 01, 2025.

The Pre-Litigation cases including Commercial/Money Recovery cases, Labour and Employment disputes cases, Electricity and water bills and other bill payment cases (excluding non-compoundable) and Maintenance Cases will be taken up in Lok Adalat.

The Post-litigation cases including Criminal Compoundable Offences, NI Act cases, under section 138, Commercial/Money Recovery cases, Motor Accident Claim cases (MACT), Labor dispute cases, Disputes related to Public Utility services such as Electricity &Water Bills cases etc. (excluding non-compoundable), Matrimonial disputes (except divorce), Land Acquisition cases, Services matters relating to pay and allowance and retrial benefits, Revenue cases, Other civil cases (rent, easementary rights, injunction suits, specific performance suits etc.) will be also taken up in the Lok Adalat.

Besides Parties/Persons, whose cases/matters are not pending in any court but desirous to settle their disputes at Pre-litigation stage can also approach office of the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Budgam personally or through email id.dlsabudgam2020@gmail.com by or before March 01, 2025, so that their cases, claims/matters can be taken up in this Lok Adalat for their amicable settlement.
