Under the campaign, Secretary, Information Technology Department Dr.Piyush Singla flagged off Digi Vans to aware people about digital services available in UT.

As part of the campaign, CSCs have been conducting extensive awareness drives, community workshops, and outreach programs at the grassroots level across all districts of J&K.

From 17th to 24th September, a total of 5,261 awareness programs were held across J&K, benefitting thousands of citizens. During this period, activities like 5,027 VLE Point/Touch Point programs, 20 Digi Van campaigns reaching remote areas, 157 ASK-BSK campaigns for citizen facilitation, 10 District-Divisional campaigns and 47 District Stall campaigns were held

The campaign has seen active participation from Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), who are playing a key role in raising awareness about Cyber Hygiene, e-Governance services, financial inclusion services, and digital literacy.

As per IT department , Sewa Parv is not just a campaign but a movement to ensure digital empowerment at the doorstep of every citizen, especially in rural and far-flung areas. The momentum will continue till 2nd October 2025, with more programs planned across districts to cover maximum beneficiaries under the aegis of Information Technology Department, J&K.

The observance of Sewa Parv highlights the commitment of CSCs in Jammu & Kashmir to bridge the digital divide and contribute to the vision of Digital India.
