SRINAGAR, MARCH 18: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar has extended his warm and heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri 2026.
In his message, the Minister conveyed his best wishes to the people of J&K and praying for joy, peace and prosperity for all. He described the festival as a vibrant celebration of Nari Shakti (women’s power), symbolizing strength, resilience and the divine feminine energy embodied in Maa Durga.
Highlighting the spiritual significance of the nine-day festival, Javid Dar stated that Navratri marks a period of devotion, reflection and renewal of faith. He emphasized that the occasion inspires individuals to seek blessings for courage, harmony and a peaceful and prosperous life.
The Minister further expressed hope that the festival would reinforce the spirit of unity, brotherhood and communal harmony among people and serve as a reminder of the enduring values of compassion and righteousness.
