Srinagar, May 21 :  The General Administration Department (GAD) here on Tuesday issued an urgent reminder to all Administrative Secretaries regarding the deputation of Senior Assistants and Junior Assistants for the J&K Secretariat Assistants Training Course.

According to the news agency, in an office memorandum dated May 21, 2024, and marked as “Most Urgent,” the GAD highlighted the importance of this training and emphasized the necessity for timely submission of the required information. The memorandum references an earlier communication from May 14, 2024, which had requested details from various departments about their training slot requirements.

“Administrative Secretaries have been directed to furnish the n.eded details by or before May 22, 2024. Failure to comply by this deadline will result in the presumption that no training slots are needed by the respective offices, consequently leading to no allocation of training slots,” reads the document.

“As the deadline approaches, we will see how the various administrative offices respond to this urgent call for action. The outcome will significantly impact the planning and execution of the upcoming training sessions. They are crucial for the smooth functioning of the government,” an official told
