JKAACL Kathua organises Bhajan Sandhya

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 27: Sub Office of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Kathua today organised ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ at Ravi Dass Temple, Ramgarh, Vijaypur.  A large number of folks and pilgrims thronged to witness the soulful musical event. The programme was organized under the overall guidance of Secretary JKAACL Bharat Singh.

Swami Khadak Giri Ji Maharaj was the chief guest, who lauded the efforts made by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages for bringing Bhajan Sandhya for the folks of  Ramgarh. He said that this event will be remembered in years to come with the request to come up with more such events in near future.

The programme started with the captivating Krishan Leela presented by Ravi Sharma & Party. The programme was further taken over by the vibrant singing of Suman Lata and Party followed by the presentations of Subash Chander & Party, Vidya Devi & Party, Rashpal & Party, Sunita Devi & Party and Nirmal Kumar & Party. The programme concluded with a soulful presentation by Narinder Singh & Party who mesmerised audiences with their singing skills.

The programme was ably conducted by Sat Pal Singh.

Earlier, SOCA, JKAACL Sub-Office, Sanjeev Gupta highlighted the promotional activities of the Academy to keep the folks of the region abreast with their roots.

A localite Ramesh Chander appreciated and lauded the efforts made by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages and thanked Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh for bringing cultural events to a religious place.

While appreciating the mesmerizing programme by the artists, he said that every artist has made him spell bound with their soulful and magical performance. He further requested the authorities for organizing such events on all such occasions in future also at Ramgarh, Vijaypur.
